Shah Rukh Khan’s “Google Me” Comment , During the 77th Locarno Film Festival in Switzerland, Shah Rukh Khan was honored with the prestigious Pardo alla Carriera, also known as the Career Leopard, celebrating his significant contributions to cinema. While at the event, SRK humorously remarked, “For those who don’t know me, leave, Google me, and then come back.” He introduced himself, though hardly needed to, saying, “I am Shah Rukh Khan, I work in Indian films, mostly Hindi.”

Following this witty remark, Google India playfully responded by tagging the actor in a post on X (formerly Twitter) and adding a crown emoji, a nod to his status as “King Khan.” The post read, “👑 @iamsrk,” highlighting his iconic stature.

The Locarno Film Festival, established in 1946, is one of the world’s oldest and most respected film festivals, with a focus on auteur cinema. The 77th edition showcased 225 films, including 104 world premieres and 15 debut films.

In addition to receiving this honor, Shah Rukh Khan confirmed his involvement in an upcoming film titled “King,” directed by Sujoy Ghosh. He shared that after completing films like “Jawan” and “Dunki” last year, he was eager to work on a project he had been pursuing for over seven years. This new film, described as more age-centric, is something SRK had discussed with Sujoy Ghosh, leading to the collaboration.

Shah Rukh Khan’s recent works include starring in Rajkumar Hirani’s “Dunki” and the blockbuster films “Pathaan” and “Jawan.”
